Repair Policy
“At Fishburn Violin Shop, years of craftsmanship and pride goes into each and every repair”
— Michael Willer ~ Luthier, Fishburn Violin Shop
The customer will be given an estimate of charges for the repair at the point of inspection if the luthier is in the shop. If the repair is taken in by an associate, you will be called with the estimate of charges. No repair will be accomplished without customer authorization and disclosure of the charges.
All repairs must be picked up and charges paid no later than 30 days after notice that the repair is complete. If the repair is not picked up and charges paid after 30 days a registered letter will be sent to the customer’s listed address. Failure to pick up the repair after 10 days from receipt of the registered letter will result in the item being deemed “abandoned” and will become the property of Fishburn Violin Shop, LLC.
If an item is being shipped to us for repair the customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from Fishburn Violin Shop, LLC. We strongly urge insuring the item against damage or loss.
All repairs in the facility at Fishburn Violin Shop, LLC are fully insured against damage or loss while in our repair facility.
“Integrity, Quality Craftsmanship and Honesty are inherent values built in to each and every repair at Fishburn Violin Shop.”
— Lyn Tarver ~ Manager
